Data controller

The data controller is BG Creative Studio, run by Blanka Grlas, based in Lugano, Switzerland. For any privacy-related question you can write to hello@bgcreativestudio.ch.

Data we collect

Through the contact form we collect only the data you enter voluntarily: name, email address, company (optional), project type, indicative budget (optional) and your message.

As with any website, the hosting servers automatically record technical data (IP address, date and time, browser type) in their logs, which are necessary for the operation and security of the site. This website does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools.

Purpose and legal basis

Your data is used exclusively to reply to your inquiry, prepare quotes and manage pre-contractual communications. The legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR); for Switzerland, processing follows the principles of the FADP.

How data is processed and stored

When you send the form, your message is (a) stored in a protected database connected to this website and (b) forwarded by email to the studio's inbox. After 12 months the database entry is flagged as archived and can be permanently deleted on request. The email copy is kept for the time needed to handle your request and, if a collaboration follows, for the duration of the relationship as required by law. You can ask for deletion at any time.

Third-party services

Emergent — hosting and technical infrastructure of this website, including the managed email delivery service used to forward inquiries (operated via Resend). Google Fonts — the typefaces are loaded from Google's servers, which receive technical data such as your IP address. Unsplash and Pexels — some placeholder portfolio images are loaded from their content delivery networks.

No data is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

International transfers

Data is processed in Switzerland and in the European Union. The email delivery service (Resend) may involve transfers to the United States, covered by adequate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability of your personal data at any time by writing to hello@bgcreativestudio.ch. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC, Switzerland) or, where the GDPR applies, with your local EU supervisory authority (in Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).
